Olivier Rousteing’s collaboration with Victoria secret will be major

In less than two months, the 2017 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will kick off in Shanghai and Olivier Rousteing is making his first move into the world of lingerie. The French designer and creative director of Balmain will be collaborating with Victoria’s Secret on official looks for the 2017 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and a capsule collection that will launch in stores and on the Victoria’s Secret website on November 29.

This collaboration marks the first time any brand has partnered with Victoria’s Secret to create an exclusive collection. Balmain’s Victoria’s Secret line will include looks that work on the runway and in the real world, from classic lacy garments to body-conscious silhouettes.

Balmain has also recently partnered with L’Oreal Paris to create a capsule collection, including lipsticks in a rainbow of different colors. “What was really surprising to me is that I didn’t know that creating a lipstick was like creating clothes,” Rousteing told the Los Angeles Times.

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will air on November 28 at 10/9 central on CBS.
