Beauty Chat With Dia Mirza

I WAKE UP… Around 7 am.

I START THE DAY BY… Drinking water and eating seven almonds soaked overnight in water.

FOR BREAKFAST… I usually have a chia bowl. I soak three tablespoons of chia seeds in water overnight, add it to two tablespoons of coconut milk, one tablespoon mixed seeds, and top it with some pomegranate and blueberries.

IN MY FRIDGE AND KITCHEN CUPBOARDS… I have lots of seasonal fruits and vegetables. And all of them are free of plastic packaging.

MY SHOWER SAVIORS… My all natural hair and body soaps. And a song that determines the length of my shower, which never exceeds 3-5 minutes.

I CARE FOR MY HAIR… By oiling with Lotus Organics+ Multi-Herbs Oil at least once a week. I use shampoos and conditioners which are 100 per cent natural and organic.

THE BEST BEAUTY ADVICE I GOT… Drink lots of water, get good sleep, and exercise!

MY MAKE-UP ROUTINE… Is simple. I like to keep my make-up breathable. It includes a light skin finish base, a lip and cheek tint, lots of mascara and a brown eye pencil smudged over the lash line. And yes, I love to fill out my brows too.

IF I’M GOING OUT AT NIGHT… I go for dewy cheek bones and inner eye highlights.

MY FAVORITE FRAGRANCE… Everything from Jo Malone.

I STYLE MY HAIR… In loose beach waves. I prefer to use the Lotus Organics+ Revitalizing Hair Tonic before styling my hair.

I LOOK INTO THE MIRROR AND SEE… Just me (smiles).

TO GET THAT CONFIDENCE… Know what you are good at. Prepare, breathe and believe.

THE CRAZIEST THING I’VE DONE IN THE NAME OF BEAUTY…Nothing really!

MY LUNCHTIME… Is something light and vegetarian.

MY WAY OF UNWINDING… Meditation, spending time in the garden watching birds, reading a book, watching a movie or show.

MY BEAUTY OBSESSION… Is keeping my face moisturised always! Currently, I am using my Bakuchiol Plant Retinol Face Oil by Lotus Organics+ to seal in the moisture.

MY EVENING BEAUTY RITUAL… Take off my make-up, cleansing, and moisturising.

THE LAST THING I DO BEFORE TURNING OFF THE LIGHTS… Meditate.
