If there’s one thing that makes all women in the knees—it’s shoes. And, the chances of this happening is higher if the brand in question is Jimmy Choo. The luxury shoemaker has created a poise and that certain red-carpet je ne sais quoi that’s unique to the brand and now it is extending the same to its beauty offerings—a segment that has been recently launched from the brand.
The capsule beauty collection called the Seduction Collection offers ten shades of lipsticks, eight nail enamels and six fragrances. The brand has previously forayed into perfumes but the beauty line is a first and comes encased in glamorous-looking gold packaging that evokes images of crystal balls and also uses the brand’s signature python print. Lipstick colours range from rouge and nude to deeper plum and nail colours promise ultra-shine with classics like red and soft pink—all along with a top coat of glitter.
The beauty line has been in the works for over two years and the announcement came right after luxury French brand Hermès also launched a cosmetic line along with Gucci. The collection is currently available at luxury boutique Harrods in London and adds to the brand multiverse that Jimmy Choo has been aiming to create after its acquisition from Michael Kors in 2017.
