From Kareena to Kangana: Bollywood celebrities are loving Beyoncé’s brand Ivy Park
Bonus: It's reasonably priced
Ivy Park first came to the limelight in India when Kareena Kapoor Khan sported the brand’s hoodie a couple of months ago. Since then, the label has slowly and steadily taken up space in Bollywood celebrities’ wardrobes, with the likes of Kangana Ranaut, Khushi Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra having adopted the activewear brand.
Co-founded by Beyoncé and Topshop, the brand was launched in 2016 with an intent to reinvent athletic wear and inspire women to incorporate fitness into their daily life, while also reminding them that beauty was more than physical appearance. The utilitarian pieces come in basic shades of black, white, grey, red, military green, blue, lemon and millennial pink, and feature deconstructed details, oversized logos and angled cut-outs.
What’s more, the label is surprisingly pocket friendly — a pair of track pants will set you back by only around Rs 3,000; a basic pair of black sliders will cost you Rs 2,100; a multi-functional hoodie retails at an affordable rate of Rs 3,100.
