Decoding Beyoncé’s looks from the Isha Ambani-Anand Piramal sangeet

We're shook

I knew this was a possibility but I can honestly say I was shocked to see Beyoncé papped by Viral Bhayani at the Udaipur airport, leaving for the Ambani-Piramal wedding. The reality that Queen Bey had made it to India for this extravaganza of a sangeet ceremony was too much – until I saw what she was wearing, of course. In spectacular fashion, as only she can, the pop star rocked three gorgeous ensembles, all by Indian designers, for her performance in Udaipur, before jetting off again. Leaving a trail of sequins, sparkle and fabulousness behind obviously.

Here is the lowdown on all of them –

1. The SHIVAN & NARRESH swimsuit

A custom creation by the designer-duo, this bejewelled swimsuit features over 850 crystals in shades of ruby, emerald, and aquamarine, along with pearls and tribal beads in various sizes. These embellishments were carefully embroidered onto the burgundy surface of the garment, bead by bead, and the outfit was completed with black Raffia sleeves from the brand’s KOI Series.

 2. The Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla dress

The magnificent Beyoncé donned a red tulle mirror sheet dress, adorned with tiny mirror pieces and beads, and completed with an organza shoulder drape by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla for the sangeet ceremony in Udaipur. She completed the look with jewellery from Pinkcity by Anita Dongre.

3. The Falguni Shane Peacock bodysuit

For her performance, Beyoncé chose an emblazoned, gilded bodysuit by Falguni Shane Peacock. Completely form-flattering, the global icon looked ethereal and the crowd, mesmerized.

 Keep slaying, Bey. Keep slaying.
