Diwali gives Bollywood’s most stylish couples another reason to whip out their finest Indian couture as they gad about the biggest bashes in town. Arpita Khan kicked off festivities last week with a party that was attended by nearly every marquee name in the city, from brother Salman Khan to Katrina Kaif and Athiya Shetty. Director Sanjay Kapoor raised the bar ever so slightly with his birthday festivities that just so happened to coincide with Diwali, while Ekta Kapoor threw her own epic bash just a neighbourhood away. Dressed and groomed for the occasion, Akshay Kumar and our favourite fun feminist Twinkle Khanna were a sight for sore eyes, while Sidharth Malhotra and his giggly amour, Alia Bhatt, kept the paparazzi on their toes all night.
