It’s a fact—India loves its traditions, and Bollywood loves celebrating them in style. But the Ganpati celebrations exude a different kind of fervour altogether—right from the aarti sung with ardour to the brand-new ensembles worn, there’s an element of magic everywhere.
This year, the Ambanis played hosts to the crème de la crème of the Bollywood industry with a lavish party which saw A-listers like Deepika Padukone, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Karisma Kapoor attend. Meanwhile, Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan had her own little get-together with invitations sent to biggies like Priyanka Chopra and Sonakshi Sinha. Both parties had two things in common: one, the elephant God. Two, stylishly-dressed celebrities who gave us some major festive wear inspiration for the upcoming wedding season.
