Bombay Electric moves to London
The concept store closes in Mumbai before the big move
After 10 years of championing the mix of kitsch with local design in Mumbai, Bombay Electric preps for a massive move – “We have so beautifully evolved over the years and we look forward to channeling the brand’s energy in a new and exciting form in London,” says Priya Kishore, creative director.
The concept store housed labels like Manish Arora, Little Shilpa, Ka:Sha and Isharya. And after their successful collaboration with Selfridges, Bombay Electric’s idea of taking their directional Indian aesthetic to the global market is even more exciting.
The Mumbai store shut its doors on March 29. But fret not; you can shop their bright, quirky wares on BombayElectric.in.
