Bottega Veneta’s Fall/Winter 2015 collection starring models Anna Cleveland and Freddy Drabble is theatrical. Creative Director Tomas Maier’s designs are set against the interiors of renowned artist Carlo Mollino’s former home – which lends plenty of character to the campaign. Legendary photographer Juergen Teller was roped in to shoot the campaign, and he’s come out with pictures that have a raw appeal; they’re provocative and yet restrained.
“I am very happy with how Juergen turned his eye to capture a distinctive and sophisticated angle. He managed to interpret the mood of the collection into powerful effect,” says Maier.
The label will also be launching a book in October, Bottega Veneta: Art Of Collaboration (Rizzoli). It promises to be a comprehensive compilation of their ad campaigns since 2002. And will include the current campaign, plus collaborations with the likes of photographers Nobuyoshi Araki, Nan Goldin, Pieter Hugo and Robert Longo among others.
