Narrowing down on a beauty look for your nuptials can be intimidating. Are you the low-key kind of bride who prefers a monochromatic look? Or is wearing colourful, statement-making eyeshadow more you? Whatever your style, there’s a good chance you’ve landed up on ace make-up artist Namrata Soni’s Instagram page looking for bridal make-up inspiration. The celebrity and bridal make-up artist has wielded her wand countless times on brides and given them the signature NamGlow look. Think fresh, luminous skin and barely there make-up.

So, what are some strong make-up trends for the upcoming wedding season? “Nude make-up. And, for brides who opt to wear masks, stronger eye make-up,” says Namrata. “I think neutral brown, black and pinks will make a comeback, along with lashes and perfect brows.”

Play with monochrome

To play up fashion entrepreneur Pernia Qureshi Gilani’s best features, Namrata went for an understated look and used neutral shades on her eyes, cheekbones and lips.

Go bold

Match your eyes to your outfit, like fashion and beauty influencer Aaliya Nensey’s cranberry eye make-up that was inspired by her ruby-hued outfit. “I picked this colour to really accentuate her light brown eyes,” says Namrata.

Subtle elegance

“A perfect soft brown kohl smoky eye is my go-to look for brides,” says Namrata. She paired the eyes with her signature glowy skin and subtle contouring.

Wing it

“The idea was to match the colour of her outfit with the overall tone of the make-up. I went for a classic winged liner with a pink lip,” explains Namrata. Go for a fresh-faced, dewy base with minimal blush and bronzer to balance the look.

Go matte

Team strong brows and intense kohl-lined eyes with matte rose lips to soften the look. Namrata completed the look with fluttery lashes and a touch of bronzer. Dreamy, isn’t it?
