Amena Khan created quite a stir when she became the first hijab model to star in L’Oreal’s campaign, and though that campaign was short lived, it successfully imparted the message that the haircare company was aiming for: equal representation. Which is why we’re elated to see Sabyasachi Mukherjee join hands with the British model for her latest wedding lookbook video, where Amena is seen in garments from his latest collection, complete with matching hijabs from her scarf company, Pearl Daisy.
Here, the model picks a floral printed belted sari with an embellished cape, complete with a matching hijab.
Amena opts for an intricately embroidered anarkali and a light-coloured hijab that complements the elegant ensemble.
