Brooke Shields creates make-up for M.A.C

If there’s one thing we’ve come to expect from M.A.C, it’s their crazy cool collaborations. After Rihanna, Lorde, Marge Simpson and Maleficent, Brooke Shields has been roped in to create not one, but two make-up lines – leading to M.A.C’s largest ‘Icon’ collection yet.

Known for her statement eyebrows, the actress and former model decided to create one collection for a fresh-faced daytime look and one for the red carpet, focusing largely on the eyes. “I like the natural part of myself, and I like the sexier side too. I’m both these things,” explained Shields to WWD, on her decision to release two lines. There is even a product to help you achieve those fantastic brows – the brow liner, in a muted gray shade, that we’re sure will fly off the shelves.

Everything about the range, from the products and the packaging, to the names, has been inspired by Shields’ personal life. Replacing M.A.C’s signature black cases, the compacts, nail polish bottles and lipstick tubes will be coloured in gray and orange to mirror the star’s Manhattan home. There’s also an eyeshadow named after her dog Pepper.

The collaborative collection is expected to hit stores worldwide in late October.
