73-year old supermodel Laura Hutton scores big for age diversity

71-year-old Charlotte Rampling posed for the annual Pirelli calendar for 2017 and designer Simone Rocha sent seven generations down the runway for her show at the London fashion Week this year, including the 73-year-old Italian actress Benedetta Barzini. The conversation about age diversity in fashion is not a new one, but it can always do with more voices.

Adding to the ongoing revolution is Sofia Coppola’s latest campaign for Calvin Klein that switches up things from their usual provocative style to a softer, black-and-white spread that celebrates women of all ages.

Supermodel Lauren Hutton, who at 73 is the oldest model to be included, stars along with Parks and Rec actress Rashida Jones and Coppola’s long-time collaborator Kristen Dunst.
