Staying on a stringent diet doesn’t sound half bad once you get an eyeful of the foodgasm-worthy photos flooding the Instagram feeds of Bollywood’s fittest names. The superfood influx is no joke, but luckily for us, these celebrities are always willing to share their experiences. Alia Bhatt is a kokum fiend, while Jacqueline Fernandez sticks to her mantra of ‘anything goes’, knocking back wheatgrass shots (that’s a thing, yes) to kale chips.

So how do you go about finding a superfood habit that works for you, and maybe looks good in all those food-fies too? Here are all the superfoods that Bollywood’s most health-conscious stars are crazy about.

Jacqueline, Sonam, Anushka and more love these superfoods

Anushka Sharma

Any takers for cleansed, toxin-free skin? Draw up a chair next to Anushka Sharma and pour yourself some elderflower tea.

If you’re looking to steal her limber frame, make fast friends with muesli. The actor keeps her body charged in between meals by throwing together yoghurt and muesli. This protein rich snack creates an illusion of fullness by slowing up the movement of food through your digestive tract.

Sonam Kapoor

Topping the best dressed charts all the time sounds like a tiring job, but Sonam keeps her body in shape with a protein-rich diet of quinoa. Dietician Radhika Karle prescribed a diet of hummus, avocados, and grilled vegetables stuffed in a pita bread for Sonam's long spell at Cannes last year.

Jacqueline Fernandez

If there’s a new superfood in town, you can bet your oil-free crisps that Jackie has tried, Instagram-ed and pocketed a few million likes on it already. Kick your detox up a notch by downing some wheatgrass shots. This miracle superfood contains all minerals known to man and flushes out those toxins like yesterday’s news.

Late night snack cravings? Drown the munchies in a packet of kale chips.

Fend off the between-meal binges with a handful of mixed dry fruits. Hashtag: Make Til Laddoo Great Again.

Alia Bhatt

Dietician Rujuta Diwekar, who keeps an eagle eye on the diets of the fittest ladies in the biz, weaned Alia onto kokum and there has been no turning back. Alia likes her kokum blended into a chilled sherbet, and packed in plenty of it during the gruelling shoot of Udta Punjab.
