As much as we would love to head to Germany for the fortnight-long Oktoberfest celebrations, life and responsibilities come in the way. Fortunately, restaurants and bars closer to home are trying their best to bring the German celebration to us. Check out the five best restaurants in Mumbai you must visit for the authentic Oktoberfest experience.

From frankfurters to schnitzels and ribs, blueFROG’s menu has it all covered. They’ve even got beer sorbet for dessert and almost 20 different domestic and international beers. Think happy hours all day.

JW Café
The chefs at JW Café have created an extensive buffet spread of Bavarian delicacies including pork currywurst for the meat-lovers, pilze in sahnesosse (mushrooms in cream sauce) for the vegetarians, and desserts like berry streusel, accompanied by German-style beers. Unlimited food and beer? We’re sold.
