Celebrities can’t stop raving about Tommy Hilfiger’s memoir ‘American Dreamer’

When he is not pushing the envelope of digital innovations in fashion, designer Tommy Hilfiger is penning down a memoir that is already becoming a celeb favourite. The designer, who has written American Dreamer in collaboration with Peter Knobler, announced the global launch of the book, in association with PVH Corp. “American Dreamer is a roadmap of the moments that have defined both my career and my personal life—from my childhood in Elmira, New York, to building a global business. I’m excited to share my journey and I hope it can inspire others to pursue their dreams,” said the designer on the book. It promises to be candid, honest and sincere, revealing never-told-before details from the designer’s personal and professional life!

Celebrities, from David Beckham to Alicia Keys, have already heaped praises on the book. “Tommy is an inspiration to many people. American Dreamer shows how he has managed to be successful in business and done so with integrity. I have come to know Tommy, and every time we talk I learn something new about creating a successful business,” says the former English footballer on the book, while Keys added, “Tommy is one of the most genuine people I know! In American Dreamer you can feel his passion pour through everything he does: fashion, fatherhood, family and friendship!”

These are not the only celebs in the fan club though. Rolling Stones frontman Sir Mick Jagger said, “Tommy burst onto the fashion scene at the height of hip-hop and was instantly taken up by rappers and rockers alike. Since then, year after year, he has been ahead of the curve with his elegant and stylish looks. His creative energy has always been an inspiration to me. He’s really himself in American Dreamer.”

American Dreamer would be available on tommy.com, amazon.in and select Tommy Hilfiger retail stores.
