Until recently, Bollywood’s stylish A-listers treated the airport as their runway. Which meant we were treated to flawlessly curated airport looks whether they were hopping onto international red-eyes or midnight long-hauls. But the turn of the New Year has brought us a welcome respite from the trendy but often impractical airport looks we’ve been treated to in the past — in 2018, the term translates to normcore and athleisure dressing  from sweatshirts and jumpsuits to basic T-shirts and the comfiest pair of sneakers. You know, like the uniform favoured by the rest of the human race. Blame it on Kareena Kapoor Khan, who famously called out her Bollywood colleagues on Koffee With Karan, but the idea of dressing up for the pre-flight photo op has finally given way to common sense.

From Deepika Padukone and Kareena Kapoor Khan to Anushka Sharma, here are four celebrity-approved airport looks that should be your travel dress code next time you’re jetting off.

Bollywood’s comfiest airport looks:

Anushka Sharma

Anushka returned from her month-long holiday in Cape Town dressed in a black jumpsuit with white panels that she styled with white sneakers and black sunglasses. This classic look nails three factors at one go: comfort, comfort and comfort.

Kareena Kapoor Khan

Kareena and baby Taimur made a stylish entry into Bollywood all the way from London. The actor's choice of clothes — a skinny pair of blue jeans, a black sweatshirt and black trainers — are the most basic components that your airport wardrobe comprises of. What we like about this outfit is how Kareena's bold choice of lip colour instantly brightens up her look.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Nothing says "downright casual" like Aishwarya and daughter Aaradhya's outfit — except that they're one step ahead with their customised T-shirts. Nail this look by styling your most comfortable jeggings (or even yoga pants) with a slogan T-shirt and sneakers/brogues.
