Instagram teaches us new things every day. It has taught us the importance of photographing your avocado toast before you eat it, lest you miss out on the important ‘likes’ that your body needs. It has also, time and again, made it clear that it’s possible to get intensely envious of a cat. We had made our peace with celebrities and their impossibly glamorous vacations and flawless gym-fies, but then came the celebrity pet accounts to ply us with more evidence of our underachieving selves.
Not only do these pets have more followers than you (by a landslide, we might add), they even eclipse their owners’ popularity with their excessive adorableness.
From Priyanka Chopra’s Diana to Marc Jacobs’ Neville, these pets have cracked the code to be Insta-famous before you could even say ‘likes for likes’.
Diana Chopra
Priyanka Chopra is slowly taking over the world and, as every potential world dominator knows, it’s only fitting to have an adorable sidekick by your side while you’re at it. The actress adopted Diana after starring with her and other rescue dogs in a Buzzfeed video. Now Diana has over ninety thousand followers on Instagram, managed by Priyanka herself. Follow Diana Chopra on her adventures around town with Priyanka and her gang and try not to weep.
Choupette Lagerfeld
Choupette hates kids and other animals. She also thinks that doing cat food commercials is beneath her because it’s just so basic, she’s Karl Lagerfeld’s cat after all. The diva has 116k followers on her Instagram and because of her Insta popularity, brings in about $4 million in modelling gigs for calendars and cosmetic brands adverts (not cat food, never cat food).
Gary Fisher
Carrie Fisher’s French bulldog Gary shot to instant fame while accompanying Carrie on the promotional tour for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Gary accompanied the actress on red carpets and talk shows and gained a huge following on social media. Currently, Gary the dog’s Instagram account has about 189k followers. The count increased after Carrie Fisher passed away late last year, with fans looking for memorial posts on the dog’s account to achieve some sort of emotional catharsis. The account is managed by Gary’s handlers, with permission from the family.
Olive Beckham
With a family as Insta-genic as the Beckhams, it doesn’t come as a surprise that their pet dog is also on Instagram. Olive Beckham has 69.9k followers on Instagram right now. Brooklyn Beckham set up the account that gained over 30,000 followers within a few hours.
Neville Jacobs
Arguably the most popular celebrity pet, almost a celebrity in his own right, is Marc Jacob’s bull terrier Neville. Catch him jetting off to exotic holidays and hanging out with A-list celebrities if you haven’t had your daily quota of self-introspection. It goes without saying that he has a wardrobe of custom-made Marc Jacobs outfits for all seasons. He even has a book, a biography if you will, titled Neville Jacobs: I’m Marc Jacobs Dog. It’s a collection of photographs documenting its life, in case the regular updates on your newsfeed weren’t enough.
Normie and Bambi Jenner
Being a legit member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan comes with the responsibility of having an active social media presence. We don’t make these rules, the internet overlords do. Kylie Jenner’s Italian hound Norman was joined by sister Bambi and together they’re on their way to Instagram glory. They have nearly 470k followers and their posts depict the casual luxury of gold satin sheets and lazy beach vacays.
Bailey Abraham

With a fan following of 14.3k, John Abraham’s half Doberman and half Indie dog, Bailey is all about eating healthy and exercising. Abraham rescued Bailey about 3 years ago and hasn’t stopped gushing about her since.
Miss Asia

Lady Gaga’s diva French Bulldog has been by Gaga’s side since 2014. With a verified social media account and a following off approximately 237k followers, Miss Asia has also been featured in campaigns, on magazine covers—basically she’s truly living the Hollywood life.
Finn Seyfried

It was love at first sight for Amanda Seyfried and Finn. After meeting on the sets of Big Love years ago, Finn managed to make his way to Seyfried’s heart. She even makes sure that Finn is allowed on set and this clause is written into her contract.
