Chopard’s glittering Cannes bash
The jewellery brand honours Hollywood’s hottest up-and-comers
Overlooking the stunning blue waters of the Bay of Cannes and the Mediterranean Sea, the rooftop of the iconic Hotel Martinez served as the venue for the Cannes 2014 Trophée Chopard party. An annual tradition since 2001, the luxury brand felicitates up-and-coming actors for their contributions to cinema. This year, it was Adèle Exarchopoulos from Blue is the Warmest Colour and Logan Lerman of The Perks of Being a Wallflower fame, who walked away with top honours. Previous recipients include Hayden Christensen, Shailene Woodley and Jonathan Rhys-Meyers.
The gorgeous Cate Blanchett (in Valentino) was the evening’s guest of honour, and was later seen partying at the post-event celebrations with Jane Fonda, Lupita Nyong’o and director Pedro Almodóvar.
