Louis Vuitton has invited six of the most revolutionary creative minds, including Karl Lagerfeld and Christian Louboutin, to reimagine the iconic LV monogram for a limited edition collection of bags and trunks.
Titled, The Icon and the Iconoclasts, this project is part of the brand’s 160th year celebrations, for which photographer Cindy Sherman, designers Marc Newson and Rei Kawakubo, and architect Frank Gehry have also been recruited.
Scheduled for an October launch in select Louis Vuitton boutiques around the world, this collection will be nothing short of sheer genius. Word is out that Lagerfeld is planning some sort of punching bag. Start saving ladies!
