If anything can lift our Monday morning blues, it’s a spot of retail therapy. And for our latest shopping excursion, we're headed to the Christian Louboutin boutique in Bandra. Selling a similar selection to the South Bombay outpost, the store is ideal for those living in the suburbs.
Situated within multi-storey boutique, Bandra 190 (which also houses Nappa Dori and The Charcoal Project), the space is owned by Seema Khan, Maheep Kapoor and Sussanne Roshan (who is a close friend of Louboutin). The 500 sq ft store features dark wooden floors covered with leather-trimmed red carpets, while the walls and furniture bear batik elements. The warm golden lighting allows the brand’s beautiful goodies to stand out – browse to discover a universe of shoes and bags in patent leather, PVC, suede and more. There’s also a selection of menswear. We’re especially loving the spiked boat shoes and canvas espadrilles.
