Last year the shoe designer created a stir in the beauty industry by launching a range of nail polishes. Now, he’s back with a collection of lipsticks, 36 shades to be precise, available in three different textures – Silky Satin, Velvet Matte and Sheer Voile. And as with all Louboutin products, the lipsticks too look like works of art – beautifully packaged in little bullets inspired by middle-eastern and Babylonian architecture. Of course no Louboutin collection is complete without it’s iconic rouge that colour the signature red soles. The same shade is also now a lipstick, packaged in a special black case. But it gets better. The lipstick cases have a small ring on the top through which you can run a ribbon or chain – and voila! It’s a necklace. Make-up that’s wearable, literally! Looks like we need to start saving up.
