The latest entrant on the Bengaluru culinary scene, it offers lamb shanks braised in a massaman curry, tobiko-rolled California rolls, mapo tofu in baby wanton cups, oysters broiled with mushrooms, soy and chorizo, and chasu ramen and pork belly, among other fun eats.

Olive, Delhi
Summer is all about light delicious food and sweet cocktails, and it looks like Olive got the memo. Their new menu uses seasonal produce to create a fresh selection of options. Expect ox tail ragout, chicken and tea consommé, fresh burrata sorbet, gazpacho granita, avocado and green apple sorbet, salt-baked beetroot, confit chicken leg pave, savoury granola, smoked goat curd, caramelised white chocolate, dark chocolate soil and cauliflower mousse.

Villa 69, the whitewashed bar and restaurant, is serving up something cool this summer. Can’t decide if you want a drink or dessert post dinner? Why choose? Just get yourself a cocktail dessert. The cocktail list includes: SPF 2014, a combination of fresh watermelon, martini bianco and vodka; Red Nemo, a mix of cinnamon, kumquats and pomegranate; BBC, a blend of carrots, oranges and ginger; the Caribbean Delight which pairs kumquats, Malibu and Prosecco; and Below 36 Degrees,a mix of vanilla, lemon yoghurt sorbet and rum.

And their new options will make it even more special. Choose from the pinzimonio salad, the lobster salad with melon melody and orange citronette, the tuna steak haché with pistachio crust and raisin mint dressing, the olive oil-poached black cod in fresh tomato and burnt eggplant, the ricotta and spinach gnocchi with a spicy carrot reduction and spinach cracker and the porcini soft lava, a mix of broccoli crush and truffle butter-sautéed vegetables.

Monkey Bar, Bengaluru
Brick walls peppered with monkey mascots are the main draw at this gastro pub – and the food packs a pretty mean punch too. Their latest menu includes the Carneval burger (just in time for the 2014 FIFA World Cup), a selection of waffle pizzas, and also the season’s most beloved fruit in a mango cheesecake waffle – a divine combination of fresh mangoes, cream cheese, biscuit crumble, vanilla ice-cream and caramel sauce lathered on a waffle.
