Sabyasachi is all about letting his clothes do the talking, giving each of his masterpieces an identity with the fabrics, craftsmanship and intricate embellishment used to bring them to life. Each garment tells a story, of the brand and of the person it was created for. But in his latest Instagram post, the man himself seems almost gushing that this particular Bollywood actress sported one of his red carpet creations. That’s right, the newest Sabyasachi muse seems to be Kalki Koechlin. The designer is famous for posting pictures of clients, models and actresses in his garments, but always makes it a point to get into the workmanship and inspiration of his outfits. But this time, he seems more interested in the garment’s wearer, Kalki.

The post gushes about her quirky personality, her humility and her talent. Which would be completely normal if he did this for every celebrity who wore his garments.
Kalki who is someone who has always described her sense of style as eclectic, crediting it to shopping in flea markets in her childhood, is just as relaxed in the Sabyasachi creation as anything else. Proving that even when it comes to fashion, the actress is always comfortable even when she’s not in her comfort zone. What we really hope to see out of this though is a boho, free-spirited line from the designer. Just to shake things up.
