Deepika Padukone and Janhvi Kapoor are right on top of the list of most influential celebrities in fashion, which is why if they insist we put comfort first — especially while travelling — we’re not going to argue. But rather than opt for the baggy jeans-and-tee combo you’ve been reaching for, (if it’s sweatpants, don’t talk to us) these stylish stars are reverting to their desi roots.
Deepika Padukone touched down last night in whats proving to be our new favourite colour combo: pristine white and caramel. Her white kurta (judging by the fit, borrowed from Ranveer Singh’s closet, perhaps?) was paired with cropped white pants, to which she added leather slip-on mules and her trusty Hermes bag.
While Deepika chose a more gender-fluid look, Janhvi Kapoor doubled down on the “cute girl next door” aesthetic she’s been peddling since the start of the Dhadak promotions. This time, the star wore a floral anarkali with white pyjama pants, her trusty Goyard tote by her side.
