Knowing that the eyes of nearly every single person in the country are on you can make your choices exhausting at times. But the crisp sunshine of the French Riviera helps make things just a little more bearable. We assume that’s what Deepika Padukone was thinking while getting some TLC at the beach, even as L’Oréal Paris’ make-up director Val Garland served a platter of interesting eye make-up looks: Think red florals paired with graphic aqua eyes.
After convincing the world that she can pass off as the dancing lady in red emoji at the L’Oréal Paris Beach Studio, the actress changed into a Galvan London dress paired with a top knot for press interactions. She then proceeded to don her hotly anticipated outfit for the evening- a deep wine concoction by Marchesa Notte, paired with Jimmy Choo heels and clutch and De Grisogono jewellery.
Day 2 had her twinning with the sunny French riverside in a canary yellow Solace London midi and floral Eliz and James earrings. (If you aren’t sure which hue works for your skin tone, here’s our handy guide.)
The dizzying merry-go-round of outfit changes continued with Deepika quickly slipping into a Balenciaga shift dress and the most colourful Louboutins that money can buy. We’d stop here to catch a breath, but Deepika almost immediately took to her second red carpet look, so we’ll carry on too.
Head-to-toe colour made the cut for her second stint on the red carpet, with a sweeping Brandon Maxwell gown doing the honours. Ditching the standard black smoky eye, Val Garland went in for the kill with dramatic emerald eyes, accompanied with a De Grisogono earcuff and Chloe Gosselin heels.
