By now, if you’ve lost track of the number of wedding celebrations Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have held, we don’t blame you. First, there were the pre-wedding functions such as haldi and mehendi, which was followed by the extravaganza that was their nuptials at Lake Como, Italy. The couple then took the revelry to Bengaluru, where the guest list primarily included family friends. Next, Ranveer’s sister Ritika Bhavnani hosted a party in Mumbai, where Deepika and Ranveer set the dance floor on fire. And finally, last night, the duo hosted a reception in Mumbai. Phew.
Deepika and Ranveer looked like royalty as they twinned in elegant shades of gold and ivory. Deepika wore an intricate, chikankari sari and jewellery, both by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, while Ranveer chose an ensemble by Rohit Bal. The couple patiently posed for shutterbugs on the red carpet, giving us ample beautiful visuals to gawk at.
Now that Deepika is a married woman, the throng of photojournalists decided it was appropriate to start calling her ‘bhabhi ji’ — much to Deepika and Ranveeer’s amusement.

So far, Bollywood personalities haven’t really been a part of any of their celebrities, but Deepika and Ranveer haven’t forgotten them. They will host (yet) another reception in Mumbai on December 3 for Bollywood friends and colleagues. Until then.
