This March, Diesel launched two brand new stores in Tokyo (Aoyama): Diesel and Diesel Black Gold. The stores feature concrete floors and high wooden ceilings, and they house a range of womenswear, menswear, accessories and even tableware. The stores were launched with an extravagant party where creative director Nicola Formichetti introduced a cool new spin on denim: White denim wedding dresses! Fittingly, the party was held at a quaint little wedding chapel located near the stores. The chapel was lit up in blue, as the models walked in these whimsical yet somehow practical designs. Picture a white shirt with 3D flowers and buckles, over a light blue denim skirt with giant pockets and frayed edges. Plus, a classic, strapless white gown was decorated with denim flowers too.
