Designer Anju Modi now has a new store in Defence Colony, Delhi. It covers almost 2,000 sq ft and houses her couture and pret lines; plus, a selection of made-to-order bridal pieces.
The designer has always mined Indian design traditions, and in many ways her new store does that too. Interior designers Nidhi Aggarwal and Jaisika Nagpal of Studio Incept and Design Staple – who are also responsible for Modi’s store at DLF Emporio – worked in details like weathered stone, indigo walls, gold-foiled motifs.
