Her collection with MAC Cosmetics has them all

The gorgeous Disha Patani has collaborated with popular make-up brand MAC Cosmetics. The actor has curated her favourites from the wide range of products the beauty behemoth has to offer. Patani, who was last seen in Baaghi 2, usually keeps things simple and subtle when it comes to her everyday make-up look—dewy skin, flushed cheeks, and nude pink lips. However, when it comes to her red carpet appearances, the actor isn’t afraid to go for something bold, making a statement.
We caught up with her at the launch of her collaboration with the brand and found out what tickles her make-up fancy this season.
ELLE: Whats your summer makeup go to?
Disha Patani: Summer’s all about minimal, easy looks. I am a big fan of minimal looks and even with my makeup especially during the heat. I always like a light layer of sunscreen with my foundation. If it’s a formal occasion, I add a hint of blush and a bright red or pink lip to complete the look.
ELLE: If you were to get red carpet ready in 15 mins, what would you do?
DP: When in doubt, wear the perfect lip shade! If you’re short on time, keep it simple with your base and a lip shade that compliments your outfit perfectly. While curating my collection for MAC Cosmetics, I knew I had to keep it real, accessible and extremely wearable. These three shades – Twig, Ruby Woo and Flat Out Fabulous – are a must have for any makeup kit.
ELLE: A makeup sin you are guilty of committing?
DP: My beauty mantra is less is more and I ensure every makeup artist I work with follows that.
ELLE: What according to you are the season’s coolest colours?
DP: Summer’s all about fresh and bright colours. Shades of bright pink, red and everything in between. If you prefer nude shades for your lip colour, you can always add some colour to your eye makeup, a blue or brown eye kohl.
