We’d be lying if we said we saw this coming. Italian house Dolce & Gabbana introduced the world to their first ever line of fashionable abayas and hijabs. Stefano Gabbana was the first to reveal the new collection with an Instagram featuring chic abayas with floral prints and intricate lacework.
The full collection, which can be seen at Style.com/Arabia, features “sheer georgette and satin weave charmeuse fabrics and include[s] copious lace details along hems.” It’s clear that the collection will cater to a large part of the Middle Eastern market, which is already among the top 10 luxury goods consumers.
