After the sudden announcement that DVF’s chief creative officer Jonathan Saunders would be resigning, the company has tapped Nathan Jenden to fill the role of chief design officer and vice president, creative. This marks Jenden’s return to the brand, where he worked for ten years until 2011.

“I want to make great clothes that resonate with women,” said Jenden, Business of Fashion reports. “I see DVF as being more relevant today than it ever was in its message of self-empowerment while being dynamic and modern. I want to give the DVF girl what she wants, when she wants it, and with the joie de vivre and sense of purpose that epitomises Diane, DVF the brand and the spirit of women today.”
Luckily for the DVF girl, she won’t have to wait too long. His first collection will be shown this February during Fall/Winter 2018 fashion week.
