Eddie Redmayne, who won the Oscar this year for his turn as Stephen Hawking in the film The Theory Of Everything, is the latest in a line of beautiful faces – and wrists – to represent Omega watches. He joins actors George Clooney and Nicole Kidman, and model Cindy Crawford. A brief history of Omega’s timepieces: the brand is distinctive for manufacturing the only NASA-certified tickers in the business (perhaps Clooney had one on under his spacesuit in Gravity). Omega was the first watch on the moon, worn by Buzz Aldrin. They’re also the official timekeepers for the Olympics.
