Friends of ELLE in Bengaluru came together for the ELLE Carnival For A Cause at the Taj West End – where brunch was a feast of Mediterranean dips and breads, freshly steamed dimsums, and delectable tostadas. The retro-diner-themed carnival was an afternoon full of shopping, which covered Indian designers and luxury labels like Louis Vuitton, Shree Rajmahal Jewellers, and Hermès.
We firmly believe there’s no such thing as too much shopping. But when a break from shopping involves nursing cocktails (by Grey Goose, SAB Miller, Sula Vineyards – potent ones even) one can hardly resist. Covers sung by Joshua Paulmer filled the room, even as guests took a peek into the future by having their face read by Sriram BC, or their aura read by Shweta Kothari. Meanwhile, GK Vale’s handy photo booth ensured those memories would last!
Proceeds from sales go to toward the Ogaan Cancer Foundation in association with the Women’s Cancer Initiative (TATA Memorial Hospital). Next stop? Mumbai, May 9. Mail rshah@ogaan.co.in to secure passes.
