ELLE Carnival For A Cause: Mumbai edition

After successful runs in Delhi and Bengaluru, ELLE’s Carnival For A Cause came to a close with its final leg in Mumbai. The city’s cool crowd gathered at the Taj Mahal Palace for an afternoon filled with great company, music, dancing and shopping. With high-street brands and designer labels (on massive discounts), the guests indulged in plenty of retail therapy. They broke away from the racks only to get express manicures (courtesy the Taj Salon) or have their Tarot read by Kavita Bhagat and Shambhavi Chhugani. All while DJ Costantino Francorsi played a string of chart toppers. Fittingly, the retro diner-themed carnival had mini burgers. But the mini mutton samosas that were making the rounds were our favourite. Another highlight? Bottomless cocktails, courtesy Grey Goose, Peroni and Sula Vineyards.

Proceeds from sales go to toward the Ogaan Cancer Foundation in association with the Women’s Cancer Initiative (TATA Memorial Hospital).
