Karl Lagerfeld has directed Private View for Chanel’s Pre-fall 2014 collection, and no surprises here, we love it. The monochrome-tinged video features the fashion maven’s real-life muse Amanda Harlech and American model and musician, Jamie Bochert, and it opens with Harlech entering the exclusive world of Chanel’s VICs (Very Important Customers).
Being a Chanel VIC, she is given after-hours access to the brand’s private salon where she is greeted by who else? The runway’s hottest stars including supermodels Nadja Bender, Ashleigh Good, Lindsey Wixson and Soo Joo Park who show off waistcoats, silk sweaters, bow-tie blouses and tweed jackets from Chanel’s wild, wild West-inspired Pre-fall line.
The movie ends with Harlech uttering three words to the boutique manager, Jamie Bochert, “I’ll take everything.”
