Till I tried my first pair of falsies, I always relied on a cocktail of voluminising, lengthening and long-lasting mascaras to make my sparse lashes look lush. But the M.A.C false lashes are totally rookie-proof. The pair I picked had a combination of long and short soft lashes, and they blended into my natural ones quite easily – I didn’t even have to bother with mascara. At first the glue on the strip didn’t seem strong enough, but once I drew a thin line of black eyeliner over the false lashes and onto my lid they stayed put all day. Taking them off in the evening was far simpler than I imagined, I dabbed a little make-up remover and peeled them off. I think I could get used to these.
M.A.C False Eyelashes, Rs 1,850
