ELLE: What does beauty mean to you personally?
Bobbi Brown (BB): Beauty means feeling good in your skin and accepting wherever you’re at in your life.
ELLE: What is one beauty product you cannot live without?
BB: My Jones Road Beauty Miracle Balm in Tawny. Something about the combination of moisture and tint— it’s just perfect.
ELLE: What is the craziest thing you have done in the name of beauty?
BB: Getting an ulthera laser. It was so painful; once was definitely enough.
ELLE: Which celebrity’s makeup would you like to do and why?
BB: Priyanka Chopra Jonas. I’ve always found her so gorgeous—she looks just like my daughter in law.
ELLE: One makeup trend you will never get over?
BB: Contouring— I’ve never thought women needed it.
