ELLE: One makeup trend that you will never get tired of?
Sonic Sarwate (SS): One of my all-time favourite trends is beautiful, dewy skin. Well prepped and flawless looking skin is the most essential for any makeup look.
ELLE: What’s your take on luxury fashion brands launching their own makeup lines?
SS: Fashion and beauty goes hand in hand. I feel it’s amazing that fashion and beauty trends will be completely aligned this way.
ELLE: If given a chance, which celebrity’s makeup would you like to do and why?
SS: Marilyn Monroe. She harboured a timeless, classic beauty which never failed to add glamour to any character or role.
ELLE: Lipstick or eyeliner?
SS: As an artist I love my freedom to express myself through colours and I completely support freedom of choice for every individual. I believe in, “to each its own.”
