Emilia Clarke became an instant superstar when she played Daenerys Targaryen on Game of Thrones. Since then, she’s continued to charm her fans with her role in films like, Solo: A Star Wars Story and Last Christmas, and with her beauty and style choices on the red carpet. The British actress in the past has voiced the importance of being happy in your own skin, a philosophy that goes hand in hand with legacy skincare brand Clinique’s ideology, which is why she has been announced as its first ever global ambassador.

Emilia Clarke often wears her hair in a slick, low ponytail, and at the GOT season six premiere, hairstylist Adir Abergel upgraded this look with gold twine.

Clarke served some Khalessi-inspired realness with this ‘do. She wore her hair in a low, tight braid that was then looped over and secured messily at the nape of her neck.

At the 2018 Met Gala, Clarke wore hot pink blush stretched across her cheekbones and eyes. She matched this with a brick red lip colour, tightlined eyes, golden eyeshadow and a touch of mascara.

The actress likes to keep it classic when it comes to her make-up–red lipstick, black eyeliner and tons of mascara.

At the premiere of the final season of Game of Thrones, Clarke stole the show with her deep plum statement lip colour. To get the look, make-up artist Katie Lee used a creamy liner on her lips as a base and then pressed on a metallic eye shadow to build up the colour.

From previous interviews, we’ve learned the secret to Clarke’s long lashes lies in using a combination of mascaras. She likes to first use a lengthening formula and then a volumising one.
