If there was ever a good reason to give Tinder binges a break then this it is. The world’s oldest person alive, Emma Morano, has shared her secret to reaching her 117th birthday: Staying single. There may not be any scientific data to back this claim up, but she is the only person alive to have witnessed three centuries so we’re inclined to give her the benefit of the doubt. Plus, you don’t get to be 117 without learning all the secrets of the universe along the way.

Morano, who was born in Italy in 1899, left her abusive husband after the death of their child in 1938 and has remained single and self-admittedly happy ever since. According to her, avoiding men, staying in and going to bed early is how you get to celebrate more than hundred birthdays.

In case her relationship advice doesn’t sit well with your weekend plans, then maybe try following her diet plan. She says that she eats two raw eggs every day and one cooked egg and avoids anything meat as she thinks that it will give her cancer. She also claims that she loves cookies but can’t eat a lot of them because she doesn’t have any teeth.

Whether remaining single and consuming raw eggs will help us live to be 100 or not, there is one important life lesson in her story: Cookies are life.
