Holy grail skincare brand, Estée Lauder has appointed Diana Penty its first Indian brand ambassador. The Bollywood actress and model will feature in skincare and beauty campaigns across Estée Lauder’s digital and in-store platforms. In fact, her first campaign as ambassador, drops today — it focuses on Diana’s personal favourite product, Estée Lauder’s iconic Advanced Night Repair serum. As part of her role as brand ambassador, she will also be promoting the Pure Colour Love Lipsticks, as well as promoting the brand’s DoubleWear Stay-In-Place foundation, together with other Indian influencers.
We think this is quite fitting; Penty epitomises the modern Indian woman – driven, successful, sophisticated and independent – perfectly. “It is an honour to be the first face for Estée Lauder in India. Being the first Indian woman to represent this iconic global brand is a dream come true. I think confidence and inner happiness makes one beautiful and I hope that I can inspire other young women to bring out the beauty in them,” said Diana Penty.
The star, who made her debut with Homi Adjania’s well-loved film Cocktail opposite Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone, has graced the cover of many an ELLE India issues. Photogenic, perceptive and perfectly poised, Penty’s big Bollywood debut was followed by radio silence. The actor has since starred in Happy Bhag Jayegi, Lucknow Central and more recently, Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran. In addition, she has walked the ramp for designers like Sabyasachi, Tarun Tahiliani and Rohit Bal, as well as international designers like Gianfranco Ferre and Trussardi.
