The preparations for the annual ELLE Graduates 2019 are underway. It’s a chance for upcoming homegrown design talent to showcase their creations and be mentored by the best minds in the industry. The jury meet took place on February 5 at The Royal Suite in The Leela Palace in New Delhi. At a private outdoor space, against the pool, jury members designers David Abraham and Payal Pratap Singh, Ogaan India‘s Aashti Bhartia, ELLE India‘s Editor Supriya Dravid, ELLE India’s Fashion Director Malini Banerji and Pink Post Inc’s founders Mitali Wadhwa and Sharnamli Mehra Adhar gathered to compare notes.
Sixteen labels participated in the three categories at this year’s ELLE Graduates, while nine made the shortlist. Designers showcased looks from their SS’18 and AW’18 collections, modelled by talent from Purple Thoughts and Multitalent Agencies. Here are the nominations for ELLE Graduates 2019:
