Designer Amit Aggarwal has had a lot on his plate lately. After hosting a private presentation during Paris Fashion Week, he’s launching an exclusive capsule collection via Carma, the e-store. “Carma has been an institution when it comes to luxury. I am delighted to be a part of such an iconic brand,” says Aggarwal. “Creating an exclusive collection for Carma was the perfect step ahead for us.” It features Aggarwal’s signature metallics in shades of rose gold, red and pastel pink. The decidedly futuristic line features structured dresses and sari gowns in lush fabrics like chiffon, tulle and mesh. The designer spent four months creating the collection, using intricate metalwork techniques on the garments – such as fluting, lattice work and hand weaving. Summer brides looking for unconventional pieces will find plenty to take home!
