Michael Kors’ new Spring 2019 collection combines high glamour with street edge; who better than supermodel Bella Hadid to front it? The campaign was shot by photographer David Sims in New York, the city Kors was born in. “Bella Hadid is the quintessential modern jet-setter,” says Kors. “She is plugged-in, adventurous and on the go 24/7.”
The Spring 2019 collection features camo-printed dresses and anoraks, black athleisure teamed with sneakers, utilitarian khaki cargos, chic bodysuits and bikinis, and some dramatic denim on denim. Gold plated bracelets from the Michael Kors Mercer Link collection and the latest Michael Kors Access Smartwatch also find a place in the collection, which is perfect for the urban traveller.
The collection also reimagines classic totes, backpacks and shoulder bags featuring the iconic Michael Kors signature. Kors’ structured rectangle handbag The Cece, for instance, is inspired by street style but with a touch of glamour—it’s a strong contended for the IT accessory of the season.
