“Even though it was contoured, there was a softness and romance to the look,” says Maybelline’s make-up artist Elton Fernandez, of the look he created for Sanjay Garg’s Spring/Summer 2016 show at Amazon India Fashion Week.
Skin
“We’ve kept the skin luminous, with the Maybelline’s Dream Wonder Fluid-Touch Foundation. We’ve used some of the highlighter from the eyeshadow palette on the cheekbones.”
Eyes
“We’ve just used a light wash of brown from the Maybelline Nudes palette – no crease, no liner, no hard lines anywhere and curled lashes. The brows were defined with clear mascara.”
Lips
“We’ve used Maybelline Velvet Mat lipsticks in shade 7 and 11. And on the inside, we’ve used the Maybelline Color Show lipstick in Coffee Break (brown) – it’s like a reverse vignette. I just asked the models to purse their lips twice, not blend too much, that’s it.”
Nails
“Sanjay [Garg] was clear that he wanted to keep it simple, so we used the Maybelline Color Show Nude Skin 015. Just clean!”
Hair
“The hair was neatly parted. We used Victoria’s Secret Very Sexy Now hair oil, for a bit of shine, and the L’Oréal Professionnel Tecni.Art Aqua Gloss Gel Shine to pat down any flyaways.”
