Retro glam by Farah Sanjana at Lakme Fashion Week 2017

Resort-ready would be just about the way to sum up Farah Sanjana's pop-themed collection at Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2017. Models strutted down the runway in summery jumpsuits, slit palazzos and denim battle jackets.

Crinkled tulle and ruffles found favour against a pastel palette of lilac, green and pale pink, splashed with golden blossoms. Kiara Advani pulled a Priyanka Chopra at the Emmys and twirled her printed skirt and peplum choli for all its worth. The only thing missing was a glass of martini, shaken or maybe stirred too.
