In the future we may all buy everything from safety pins to cars online, but for now, nothing replicates the satisfaction of handling the merch yourself, trying it on and seeing how it looks in different lights. Chic House is a design store that understands this and while it offers its fashion and home décor collection online, it will also host pop-ups in different cities from time to time so your actual purchase can happen in a brick-and-mortar store.
The store houses some interesting pieces: Kichu’s line of wild pendants, Marsala’s single-stone jewellery, Paio’s very wearable wedges, comfy roomy dresses by Three and Loupe’s accessories that make the combination of Swarovski crystals and polished wood somehow work. Especially striking are Rayden Design’s range of Scandi-stark home décor, like a brass paper clip holder shaped like a paper boat or the paper plane-inspired photo frames.
Chic House will host pop-ups regularly in Mumbai, and will travel to Bangalore and Delhi early next year. Follow them on Facebook for updates.
