This March, KOOVS launches a brand new collaboration with one of India’s favourite designers, Manish Arora. This is Arora’s first ever menswear line, and it features both apparel and accessories. The designer turned to the Japanese folk art of ‘Temari’ for inspiration. ‘Temari’ balls are unique, multi-coloured toys that are constructed from remnants of old kimonos. Arora’s aesthetic mirrors their colourful and whimsical design. The pieces feature art deco and graphic prints in vibrant hues of fuchsia, emerald and electric blue.
The line includes bomber jackets, shirts, trousers and shorts as well as accessories like backpacks, flip-flops, socks and phone covers. It remains affordable like most of KOOVS’ products. “I chose to collaborate with a platform like Koovs.com in India to provide consumers an exclusive opportunity to own a signature Manish Arora product at accessible prices. We are essentially a women’s wear brand, so we thought it would be a great opportunity to cater to men for a change. We’ve incorporated a lot of lucid, colourful prints and graphics into the collection.” Can’t wait to borrow from the boys already!
