Staying at home has never been more stylish

Welcome to the year 2020, where summer trips to Europe have been replaced by daily trips to the fridge (and no, 12 times isn’t too many times), wardrobe goals have gone from high-end street style to sweatpants and a boyfriend tee, and the most exciting part of our day is whipping sort-of cutesy coffee.

The pandemic might’ve managed to put a damper on everybody’s plans, but with the onset of Ganesh Chaturthi, our fave celebrities seem to have taken to the new normal in style. They’ve been giving us lewks so elegant that we’ve snapped out of our lockdown funk.

Swipe through for some stunning festive looks by Bollywood celebrities:

Bhumi Pednekar radiated simplicity and sophistication with an understated light-pink kurta by The Burnt Soul, paired with a traditional piece of heirloom jewellery by Ruban’s Accessories by Chinu Kala.

Sonakshi Sinha upped her simple, graceful pastel-lime kurta by pairing it with a gold-bordered printed dupatta, and beaded Kohlapuri juttis from Fizzy Goblet.

Vidya Balan looked elegant in a classic, orange and red Kanjivaram silk saree. She took it up a notch and embellished on this look by accessorising it with jewellery from Mahesh Notandass, and chose a simple, sleek bun with a kajra to tie the look together.

Shilpa Shetty looked gorgeous in a Punit Balana designed, block printed, fuchsia pink and steel kurta ensemble. She accessorised it with kundan earrings, bangles, and a ring by Parina Jewels, and completed the look with golden heels, and straight, sleek hair.

Mrunal Thakur wore a pink kurta by Mulmul, with contrasting denim blue embroidery, and beaded blush pink juttis by Fizzy Goblet. But what we can’t tear our eyes away from is that beautiful blue ring by Kohar Jewellery, which ties the look together perfectly.

Dia Mirza looked like a ray of sunshine in these drab monsoon days, with a mustard and green layered set from Global Desi. She gracefully paired the look with understated jewellery, a sleek bun, and strappy heels we can’t help but crush on.

Sonali Bendre gave us über graceful vibes in a basil-coloured, linen sari by Anavila, with a subtle silk blouse. She accessorised the look with some beautiful bling, and tied the whole look together with a kajra and a simple bun.

Ananya Pandey looked oh-so-sanskaari in a white suit with blue accents. She completed her look with a messy bun, three-tired jhumkis and a nose-pin.
Shraddha Kapoor wore a peach suit with white lace-work on it, and paired it with open hair and elegant jhumkis. We think she looks just peachy.
In a red, floral kurta paired with a white salwar, a red chiffon dupatta, red bangles and a sleek bun, Karishma Kapoor blew our minds with her striking lewk, complete with a teardrop-shaped bindi.
Sara Ali Khan looked beautiful in a fuchsia-pink, short salwar suit with gold accents. She topped off the look with gold earrings, and fuchsia and gold bangles to match.
